How do I apply Snap™?

It’s easy to Snap™
  • Buff your stuff – get your surface clean, smooth and dry.*
  • Now just peel and stick Snap™ on the wall. Really, it’s that easy!
  • If you get air bubbles along the way, simply smooth them out by applying pressure from the center of the decal towards the outside edges. Or remove and reapply.
  • If your decal sticks to itself, which can happen with the larger decals, don’t worry. Separate the decal from itself by slowly pulling it apart. Be patient and take your time. You’ll be ready to Snap™ again in no time.
  • You didn’t Snap™ exactly where you wanted? No worries. Give the decal a nice, slow pull to remove it from the wall, and then reposition. Guaranteed removable when it’s time to redecorate!

* See paint manufacturer’s drying times when applying to freshly painted walls.

How do I store my Snap™ decals?

If you want to try a new Snap™ design or it’s time to paint the walls, store your Snap™ decals on their original liner. You can reposition and reapply your Snap™ decals an infinite number of times provided they are kept dust or lint free. Placing them on their original liner will help to keep them in proper condition so that you can enjoy them over and over again.

Can I apply Snap™ anywhere?

For best results, we recommend applying Snap™ to surfaces that are smooth or that have a light texture – the less texture; the better the product will adhere. For best results, we recommend that you first test the surface. Results may vary based on the texture of the surface, humidity levels and whether the surface is dirty or dusty.

Applying Snap™ to freshly paint walls

We recommend that you review the paint manufacturer’s drying times when applying Snap™ to freshly painted walls. You may need to wait a day or two to ensure the surface is dry even if it feels dry to the touch. Paint requires time to cure completely. This will ensure that the decals will adhere properly, that they are removable and won’t damage the walls. Also, make sure that your surface is clean, smooth and dust-free prior to applying Snap™. Wipe with a damp cloth or sponge and let it dry.

Snap™ is not just for walls - Applying Snap™ to other surfaces

You can apply Snap™ to many other surfaces – mirrors, doors, stretched canvas, lockers, bathroom tiles – pretty much any smooth or lightly textured surface. We don’t recommend applying Snap™ to highly textured walls, brick or other porous surfaces, textiles or wallpaper. For best results, we recommend that you first test the surface in an inconspicuous location. When applying to tiles, make especially sure that the surface is dry before applying.

How do I remove Snap™?

If you didn’t place the decals exactly where you wanted or you want to try a new Snap™ design - no worries – give the decal a nice, slow pull to remove it from the surface. Always start with the biggest pieces or the top edges and pull down. Working slowly is key. This will ensure that you don’t rip the decal. Then either reposition your Snap™ Instant Wall Art or apply a new design. It’s that easy! Remember to store the decals you are removing to the original liner so that you can enjoy them again at a later date.

How do I take care of my Snap™decals?

Taking care of your Snap™decals is… well, a snap. They clean easily - gently wipe with a damp sponge or cloth.

For best performance, do not expose your Snap™Instant Wall Art to extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals or cleaners.
